A SUMMER GETAWAY TO LAKE POHENEGAMOOK

When our French Canadian friend invited us to go on a trip we are all excited because finally we are able to enjoy and having fun after a long days of work. Few days before that we are already talking on what foods do we need to prepare for our first summer getaway in Canada. It was early Saturday morning when we cooked our foods like pancit, lumpiang shanghai etc. for our baon to be brought to our trip.At 10am in the morning we already left our apartment and we drop off in a convenience store to purchased for some drinks, checheria's etc. When we continued our trip i have noticed that the road in Canada is very wide, no traffic especially in the province .It's already 11:45am when we arrived in Lake Pohenegamook. We payed 8$ for the entrance fee and we headed directly to the cottage near the lake. When we are about to checked the water of the lake we found out that it's freakin cold so we decided not to go on swimming instead we just walked and took some photos.

The DJ really played good R & B music which makes people dance. They also have fashion show where models worn Billabong collections like shirt, shorts, caps etc. When we heard that there is a LIVE Band who will played that night we agreed to stay overnight but unfortunately our friend can't stay overnight so we don't have a choice but to go with her.

  Gimme, gimme,  gimme  ...

Since summer in Canada lasted approximately only 3 months, Most of this Canadians are very excited to wore their sexy summer outfit everywhere. They are really crazy about "Tanning" a process whereby skin color is darkened or tanned. The process is most often a result of exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or from artificial sources. As what other people said Black is beautiful but to much black is charcoal ... just kidding...hahahaha.

Beach Volleyball

We left the place with a big smile in our face but it would be more happier when we stayed overnight so that we could watch the Live Band playing Reggae music i guess it would be one of the best summer getaway i have ever experience in my entire life.

FIRST SNOW EXPERIENCE

SNOW is a form of precipitation in the form of  crystalline water ice, consisting of snowflakes that fall from clouds.Since snow is composed of small ice particles, it is a granular material. It has an open and therefore soft structure, unless packed by external pressure.Snowflakes come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Types which fall in the form of a ball due to melting and refreezing, rather than a flake, are known as graupel, ice pellets, snow grains.Snowfall amount and its related liquid equivalent precipitation amount are determined using a variety of different rain gauges. Many winter sports, such as skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling,  and snowshoeing depend upon snow.

THE GREAT CANADIAN DREAM (FEB 2010)

Never came into my mind that I have an opportunity not just to visit but to work in Canada.Honestly, before i really don't have idea about Canada because most of us Filipino's are more familiar with the United States of America. You may or may not agree with me but it's true that we Filipino's have dreams someday to come to U.S to pursue the what we call " The Great  American Dream". Before i will start my journey to Canada let me tell about a little information about this country.

Canada is a North American country consisting of 10 provinces and 3 territories.Located in the northern part of the continent, it extends from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean. Canada is the world's second largest country by total area and its common border with the United States of America.
In turn, these may be grouped into 4 main regions: Western Canada, Central Canada,Atlantic Canada, and Northern Canada("Eastern Canada" refers to Central Canada and Atlantic Canada together).
Ottawa is the capital city while Toronto is the largest city both located in Ontario province. Canada's two official languages are Canadian English and Canadian French.
